BOGY'S BODY SHIPPED HOME.
Burial Takes Place To-Morrow in Calvary Cemetery.

A special dispatch to The Republic from Joplin, Mo., last night says that the body of Benjamin Bogy, who died there Saturday night, was shipped to St. Louis last night for burial. The funeral will take place to-morrow morning at 9 o'clock from No. 4308 Evans avenue to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, thence to Calvary Cemetery.

Benjamin Bogy belonged to a prominent old St. Louis family, and was the oldest traveling salesman in point of service in the United States, having been on the road fifty-two years. He was a brother of former United States Senator Bogy. At his bedside in his last moments were his son, Joseph A. Bogy, his daughter, Miss Cornelia M. Bogy, and grandson, Benjamin Bogy. His son, Alexander M. Bogy arrived at Joplin yesterday and they all accompanied the body to St. Louis.

Uncle Ben Bogy died at Joplin Saturday night. He was the oldest drummer on the road and was known all over the southwest.
