From the Southtown Economist, Chicago, June 28, 1936:

Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Tenfelde have returned from their honeymoon in Kentucky to reside at 3851 Lake Park Ave. Their marriage took place at 10 o'clock in the St. James church, 29th St. and Wabash Ave., June 13.
Mr. Tenfelde is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Tenfelde, of Covington, Ky., while his bride is the former Edna Rae Hathaway, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Hathaway, 2804 Prairie Ave.
The bride, an Englewood high graduate, wore a bias-cut gown of white satin with a high roll collar and long train. Her cap-shaped veil was white tulle and she carried white roses.
Her only attendant was Eileen Walsh, 6730 Marshfield Ave.
A reception was held in the home of the bride's parents, after which the bride and groom left on their trip.

Note from Darrell Brown:

They had two children, Loretta Jean and Richard Raymond. In 1944 Edna became ill with meningitis and died, leaving the children without a mother. Sometime later Bert married Patricia Smith. In 1957, Loretta married Frank Louis of Chicago and moved to Champaign, Illinois, where her husband was a university student, and later settled in Wisconsin. Richard married Gloria Wisniewski, and they settled in Pennsylvania. Bert died in Chicago in 1986.
