Actress, Comedienne. She began her career as a member of the Los Angeles-based comedy troupe The Groundlings, and first appeared on television playing various characters on 'The Bill Tush Show' in 1978 and in the early 1980s, she landed a role on the HBO comedy series 'Not Necessarily the News' for two seasons. She had minor roles in the films 'Pee-Wee's Big Adventure' (1985), 'Wildcats' (1986), Funland' (1987) and 'Batman Returns' (1992), before being chosen to join the cast of NBC's 'Saturday Night Live' where she was a cast member from 1986 through 1994. Her characters included Candy Sweeney of "The Sweeney Sisters" and she performed notable impressions of Bette Davis, Ann-Margret, Betty Ford, Nancy Reagan, Jodie Foster, Tammy Faye Bakker, Kathie Lee Gifford, Diane Sawyer and Hillary Rodham Clinton. She left 'SNL' in 1991 to join the cast of the CBS sitcom 'Designing Women' to play the role of Carlene Dobber for the final two seasons of the show. She then rejoined the cast of 'SNL' for the 1993 and '94 seasons. From 1996 through 2000, she had a recurring role on CBS's '3rd Rock From the Sun' as Vicki Dubcek, which earned her an Emmy nomination. Among other TV shows she appeared on were 'Hiller and Diller', 'Providence', 'Primetime Glick' and '30 Rock' and on film she appeared in 'Coneheads' (1993), 'A Dangerous Woman' (1993), 'Simon Birch' (1998) and 'Jiminy Glick in Lalawood' (2004).
