Marjorie Frances Middleton of Claremont, NH died on October 7, 2014 at the Sullivan County Health Care in Unity, NH after a lengthy illness. She was born in Montpelier, VT on February 11, 1921 the daughter of Vernon and Hazel (Howes) Crossett.

Marjorie graduated in 1938 from Waterbury High School.

She had worked for Charles Adam Law Firm in Waterbury, VT, Goodyear Tire & Rubber in Windsor, VT, Sylvania in Peterborough and had retired in 1985 after 25 years in the bookkeeping department from Claremont National Bank which became Bank East.

Marjorie was a member of the Claremont Senior Center, Order of Eastern Star and the Union Episcopal Church.

She married John A. Middleton on May 29, 1942 and he died on December 2, 2002.

She leaves two sons, John G Middleton of Springfield, VT and his companion, Alice Emmons and Gregory C Middleton of Claremont and his companion Courtney Steele; one daughter, Susan J Croney of Northfield, VT and her husband, William; one son-in-law, Fred Stillson of Tilton and her twin sister, Marion Rawson of Arlington, TX; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was pre-deceased by one daughter, Pamela M Stillson; one brother, Edward Crossett and one sister, Jeanne Crossett.

Interment will be in West Claremont Burying Grounds in Claremont.
