Professional Hockey Player. For three seasons (1994 to 1997), he played at the right-wing position in the National Hockey League with the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. He began his career with the Chelyabinsk Traktor and was a member of the 1993 Russian World Championship Team. He earned a spot on the Russian hockey squad during the 1994 Olympic Games. Selected by Anaheim during the 3rd round of the 1993 NHL Draft, he marked his debut during the 1994-1995 season and played in 30 games. The following year (1995-1996), he produced a career-high 9 goals. In 76 regular NHL games, he compiled 14 goals with 15 assists. He is a member of the Russian and Soviet Hockey Hall of Fame. He suffered severe head trauma during a domestic violence incident in the summer of 2014 and remained in a coma until his death.
