CATHERINE STONEMAN

Mrs. Catherine Stoneman, 81, former Manitowoc resident, died Friday
night at the home of her daughter in Milwaukee. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 AM Tuesday, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 9 o’clock at St. Anne Church, Francis Creek, the Rev. Joseph Rauch officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Stoneman, nee Catherine Murray, was born in Nasawaupee, Wisconsin, in 1867 and was married to William Stoneman in 1889. They lived in Door County, Mishicot, Francis Creek and this city. Mr. Stoneman died in 1935.

Survivors are four daughters: Mrs. J.J. Millard, Redondo Beach, California, Mrs. Michael Koch of Mishicot, Mrs. G. R. Hessel of Francis Creek and Miss Lucy of Milwaukee; four sons: Earle J. of Platteville, Wisconsin, William Jr., of Kansas City, Missouri, Nicholas J. of Madison and Allan of Los Angeles; three sisters: Mrs. Joan Sloan of Forestville, Mrs. George Grabosky of Ingallston, Michigan,
Mrs. William Brown, Kapuskasing, Canada; brother: N.D. Murray of Chicago; 23 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

The body may be viewed at the funeral home after 2 PM Sunday.
