ROBERT EARLE MILLER was the son of EARLE MILLER and GRACE JENNINGS MILLER. He was born May 26, 1909 at Spokane Washington. After graduation from Lewis and Clark High School, he attended Gonzaga College at Spokane for two years. During July of 1930 he enlisted in the U. S. Navy. He was assigned to special duty and sent to Air Photographic School at Pensacola, Fla., and at Washington, D. C., being transferred to San Diego for duty. First Class Petty Officer, Manila, P. I. Fleet Photo. Lab., U.S.S. Augusta, Asiatic Fleet.

He married BLANCHA LEOLA YEAGER at San Diego, Calif., Mar. 21st, 1936.
