Eugene E DeLong of 2143 Burdett Avenue died yesterday at St. Mary's Hospital after a long illness. He was a lifelong resident of Troy and attended Holy Cross Episcopal Church and was a member of St. Stephen's Guild. He also was a member of the Sycaway Hose Co., a group of which he had been captain for many years. For the lat 14 years, he had been employed by Singer Sewing Machine Company.

Survivors include his widow, the former Vivian VanArnam, three sisters, Mrs. Georgia Nolan of Troy, and Mrs. Harry Mullen and Miss Grace DeLong of Schenectady, and three brothers; Warren, Ernest and Willard DeLong, all of Troy.

Prayer will be said at the Clark and Blake Memorial Chapel, 818 River Street at 1:30 pm tomorrow. The Funeral will be conducted at 2 pm from Holy Cross Church. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
