Marvin Dewey “Bub” Parrish, 64, of Jericho Addition, Mannington, died Friday (Oct. 17, 2014), at Fairmont Regional Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 20, 1950, at Fairmont, a son of the late Marvin Parrish and the late Lillian Eleanor Higgins Parrish Riggs.
He is survived by his wife, Patty Parrish; a daughter, Jennifer Parrish; and a daughterin- law, Hope Parrish, all of Mannington; five sisters, Sue Jolliffe, Mannington, June Willard and Shelia Parrish, both in Ohio, Debra Martin, Worthington, and Patty Slater, Hundred; two brothers, Pete Riggs and Mark Riggs, both of Mannington ;and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Michael David Parrish, on Sept. 15, 2012; and grandparents, Robert Tristan Higgins and Lillie Bell Higgins.
He was a construction worker employed by MEC Construction. He enjoyed riding his Harley.
Family and friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St., Mannington. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
Interment will be at Mannington Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Paul Hibbs, Derek Fourtney, Jimmy Martin, Roger Martin, Sammy Gray, John Hicks, DJ Robinson and James Summers.
