Lawrence A. Kilgore, 62, for many years a resident of the Ninevah area, died Saturday afternoon, Dec. 16, 1950, in his home, 136 Woodland avenue, Washington, Pa. He had been in poor health for some time.
A son of the late James and Phoebe Breese Kilgore, he was born April 26, 1888 in Morris Township, near Ninevah. On April 7,1908, he married Lizzie Braden, who survives with the following children:
Oakley and Ralph Kilgore, Baltimore, Md.; Mrs. Urbia Anderson, Cameron, W. Va.; Mrs. Georgia Gray, Ninevah; Mrs. Leotta Campbell and Hallie Kilgore, Detroit, Mich., and Arthur Kilgore, at home.
Also surviving are eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and the following brothers and sisters: Warren Kilgore, Freedom; Frank Kilgore, Courtland, Ohio; John Kilgore, Claysville, R. D. 1, and Mrs. Odessa Scott, Enon, Pa. One brother and a sister preceded him in death.
