Born in Norristown on Dec. 26, 1920, he was the son of the late Mary (Johnson) and Harry M. Hunsberger Sr.
Mr. Hunsberger was employed as a mail carrier for the U.S. Post Office for more than 27 years. He was the husband of Jane (Hood) Hunsberger who died on Feb. 14, 1998.
Surviving are two sons, James Hunsberger of Downingtown and Harry Hunsberger III of Lansdale; three daughters: Barbara Alessi of Lansdale, Patricia Ruser of Collegeville, and Nancy Bonenberger (husband Mike) of Trooper; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Frances Smith of Lansdale and Eleanor Berry of Royersford; and a brother, John Hunsberger (wife Helen) of Frederick.
Preceding him in death were two sisters, Sarah Wagner and Doris Davidson; and Fred Johnson.
Harry was a World War II veteran having served in the U.S. Army with the 82nd Airborne.
Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service on Tuesday, Nov. 9, at 11 a.m., at the Szpindor Funeral Home, 101 No. Park Ave. (Route 363 North), Trooper, with the Rev. Zweig, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, West Norriton.
