Mrs. Sherwood Huebner, 72, of 2404 S. 11th St., died Sunday at her home following a brief illness.
Born in Sheboygan Dec. 5, 1902, she was the former Anna Arenz, a daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Sitkawitz) Arenz,. She attended St. Peter Claver Catholic School.
Her marriage to Mr. Huebner took place Oct. 19, 1922 in Waukegan, Ill.
Surviving are her husband; a son Sherwood Jr. of Hixson, Tenn; a brother, George Arenz of Sheboygan; three sisters, Mrs. Mac Weber of Youngstown, Ohio, Mrs. Katherine Lorenz of Oshkosh and Mrs. Cecilia Verick of Tomah, and two grand children.
Preceding in death were three brothers. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Ramm-Ziegler Funeral Home, the Rev. Tim Watliff, associate pastor of St. Peter Claver Parish, officiating. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery.
Friends may call after 4 p.m., Tuesday until the time of service Wednesday.
A memorial fund has been established in Mrs. Huebner's name.
