Jeffrey M. Battle was born July 21, 1955 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Christopher Columbus Battle Jr., (Telloler Battle) and Bernice Battle-Johnson (Rev. William Johnson). He attended catholic and public schools. After High school he joined the army. After being discharged from the service he worked various jobs and retired from Schlage Lock.
Jeffrey is preceded in death by three brothers; Michael, Maurice and Carl Battle. One sister Vanessa Morgan 2 grandsons; Re'shaun K Jones and Dametreius A. McGee-Crockett.
Jeffrey leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, E. Juanita and five children; Bernadette Jones, Richard Jones, Charles Jones, Michael Battle and Derrice Battle. Nine sisters, four brothers, 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. A host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
