LYONS - Mrs. Dessie Crowl, 72, died in Lyons hospital at 11:30 a.m. Monday after several years' illness.
She was born in Bluffton, Ind., Sept. 5, 1880, came to Lyons 49 years ago, was a member of the Methodist church.
Mrs Crowl is survived by two daughters, Mrs Bert Ross, Wichita, and Mrs G H Redman, Lyons; a son, L C, Kermit, Texas; three half sisters in Indiana; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral will be in Crawford-Miller chapel at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday with burial in Lyons cemetery.
