Hazel, 74, grew up around Peckham and Gilcrest. On February 14, 1950 she married Vernon in Brighton. They were married for 50 years. Survivors included: children Janet (Myron) Mitchell, Robert (Marcelina) Wollert and Kirk (Lisa) Wollert; eight grandchildren; sister Fern Carey(Bud); and James Pittington. She lived her life for others. She always made sure family was taken care of. She was a homemaker most of all and ran a daycare center for 32 years. Her parents and husband preceded her. Services held at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home on February 6.
