Rodney J. Holzkamp
Rodney J. Holzkamp, age 73 of San Francisco Ca, and Chicago Il passed away peacefully in his sleep at Coming Home Hospice in San Francisco, on Monday, Oct 6, 2014. He was born Jan 15 1941 in San Francisco,CA to Margaret (Gianfrancheschi) Holzkamp, and Rugen Holzkamp Sr. Rodney attended and graduated from St. Vincent De Paul Elementary school, St. Ignatius Preparatory HS, Santa Clara University for his BA in History, and California State University, SF for his Masters degree in History. He went on to teach for over 25 years at the College of Dupage in Glen Elyn, Il. Rodney was a devoted Christian, as well as an avid world traveller. He is survived by his niece Robin Whewell, and cousins Cynthia Chapman, Felton Howe Jr, Julie Bowra, Donna Guilder, Cindee Bunt, Rhoda Peterson, their families and many friends. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, November 15 at 1pm at St. Ignatius Church 650 Parker Ave, San Francisco. Inurnment to be at Olivet Memorial Park at a later date. www.halstedngray.com
