COILA-Services for Larry Dewayne Acy will be held Tuesday October 28, 2014 2:00 PM at MT Olive Baptist Church in Coila, MS.

Mr. Acy, age 58 died on Saturday October 25, 2014 at his residence from cancer.

He was born on August 22, 1956 in Greenwood to the late Grady A. and Stella Winters Acy and lived in Coila. He was a graduate of J.Z. George High School in Carrollton. He was a US Air Force and Army Veteran with over 13 years service and retired from the US Postal Service in Killeen TX. He was a member of Mt Olive Baptist Church in Coila and was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby and Joe Acy. .

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Libby Beach Acy of Coila, a daughter, Jamie Lynn Acy of Coila, a son, Colt J.C. Acy of Coila, three grandchildren, Lee Ann Acy, Colten Acy, and Brendan Acy, two brothers, Billy Acy of Coila and Jerry Acy of Madison, a sister, Delores Tackett of Greenwood.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday October 28, 2014 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood. Rev Dennis Sullivan will officiate the services.

Pallbearers will be Reggie Tackett, Randy Tackett, Stanley Acy, Frank Acy, Shane Acy, Skeets Elliott. Honorary Pallbearers will be Rodney Tackett and Vince Benjamin. Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery.
