Professional Football Player. For six seasons (1998 to 2003), he played at the guard and tackle positions in the National Football League with the Oakland Raiders. Born Damon Jamal Collins, he attended West Charlotte High School and played collegiate football at the University of Florida. Selected by Oakland as the 23rd pick during the 1998 NFL Draft, he totaled 71 career regular season games. He was a contributor to the Raiders' drive to an appearance in Super Bowl XXXV in January 2001. After retiring from football, he returned to his former high school and served on their football coaching staff. He died from kidney failure.
