Raised in New Jersey, she began modeling while a child and by the age of sixteen, she appeared in an episode of "The Patty Duke Show" (1964). This led to her succeeding Liza Minnelli in the off-Broadway production "Best Foot Forward." In addition during this period, she experienced a small amount of success recording a few records, among them "The Flower Children" (1967). She found her first recurring role playing 'Nurse Margie Cutler' in the TV series "M*A*S*H" (1972 to 1973). She will be remembered by movie audiences for playing 'Diane Szalinski' in the film "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" (1989) and the sequel "Honey I Blew Up the Kid" (1992). She died from breast cancer.
