Clarence P. Boston
KITTERY POINT - Clarence Plaisted Boston, 67, of Foye's Lane, a retired Portsmouth naval Shipyard employee, died at his home yesterday.
Born in South Berwick May 19, 1887, the son of the late Elijah and Mercy (Plaisted) Boston, he had lived in both Kittery and Kittery Point for many years.
Mr. Boston was employed as a machine operator in the electrical manufacturing shop at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for 27 years retiring in 1947.
His survivors include two step-daughters, Mrs. Ralph Garroute of California and Mrs. Wilbur Sawyer of Kittery Point; two stepsons, Floyd MacKenzie of Kennebunk and Earl MacKenzie of Searsport, Maine; several grandchildren, a brother, Almon Boston of Portsmouth and nieces and nephews.
