Aug. 19, 1934 - Oct. 30, 2014 Shirley Kuppersmith Doize' of Pace, FL, passed away on October 30, 2014 surrounded by family. Shirley was born in Mobile, Alabama on the 19 day of August, 1934 to the late Marie Obert Kuppersmith and Charles Bernard Kuppersmith. She graduated from Murphy High School in 1954 and later met and married her spouse of 60 years Paul S. Doize' Jr. of New Orleans, LA. Shirley moved with her family to Pensacola, FL in 1967 where she began her career in 1969 as a sales representative in women's apparel for Gayfer's Department Store. She retired from Gayfer's after over 25 years of loyal service. Shirley was preceded in death by both parents; her brother, Charles Bernard Jr; sisters, Marie Hathaway and Anne Boney. She is survived by husband Paul S. Doize' Jr.; sons, Paul S. III (Paula) Doize' and Michael A. Doize'; daughters, Patrice (Denis) McVey and Jean (Greg) Cochran; many nieces and nephews; also, 5 Grandchildren as well as 5 Great Grandchildren. She was a very loving and devoted daughter to her mother Marie Kuppersmith and her sisters Marie Hathaway and Anne Boney all of Mobile AL. Even though she moved to Pensacola she kept very close ties to her sisters and mother. She greatly enjoyed holiday gatherings in Mobile and family vacations in Point Clear, AL. Sharing time with her family and relatives was very special to her. Shirley was an outgoing person, very loving and caring, she never met a stranger. She had immense love for animals of all kinds and spent many happy hours providing and caring for these loved pets. They were a source of great comfort for her. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 03, 2014 at St. Paul Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Kevin McQuone as celebrant. Entombment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 9:30 am until 10:00 am, Monday at the church.
