ELEVATOR BOYS KILLED ON DUTY

Two elevator operators were killed in separate accidents yesterday.

Paul C. Acton, 17, 1224 D street southeast, employed at the Coast and Geodetic Survey Building, was working in an elevator at the building when the cable broke. The elevator dropped three flights to the basement. Acton was thrown on his head, receiving a fracture of the skull. The injured boy was rushed to Casualty Hopsital. He died shortly after his arrival there.
