Mrs. Utterback, 86, died Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at her daughter's home in Tulia, Texas.

Pastor Wayne Brazil will officiate at the services. Cremation will follow the services.

Edna was born November 27, 1927 in Lake Arthur, New Mexico; the daughter of Isaac P. Johnson and Nora Ann (Strebeck) Johnson.

On August 15, 1947 she was married to Robert B. Utterback in Cottonwood, N.M. They were longtime Hagerman residents.

Edna was a homemaker and attended Hagerman First Presbyterian Church. She also volunteered at the Hagerman Loaves and Fishes Food Bank.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Lamar Johnson, George Johnson, Charles Johnson and Herman Johnson; sisters Oleta Cooper, Oneta Brown, Christine Butler, Lorene Lambert, and Helen McCaw; and granddaughter Chantal Zolman.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hagerman Joy Center Equipment Fund, Drawer V, Hagerman, NM 88232.
