Guy Elliott Jasper, Jabez, died Wednesday at his residence after an illness of a week.

The son of Ethel Jasper and the late Sophia Perkins Jasper, he was born August 19, 1911 in Somerset. He was married to Rachael Scholl May 24, 1934.

Mr. Jasper was a farmer and a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors are his father; wife; two sons, Charles Jasper, Cincinnati and Galen Jasper, Jabez; a daughter, Mrs. Sandra Hall, Lexington; and a brother, Glen Jasper, Somerset.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Christian Home Church at Jabez with the Rev. Charles E. Correll officiating. Burial in the Oak Hill Cemetery.

Denney-Murrell-Correll Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The body will be at the funeral home until 9 a.m. and will be taken to the Christian Home Church at Jabez until time for service.
