He was born Nov. 10, 1888, in the Waterloo community in Pulaski County. He was married Nov. 14, 1910, to the former Sophia Perkins who preceded him in death. His parents, Dr. Galen Elliott Jasper and Rosella Taylor Jasper are both deceased.
He was a retired farmer and a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church where he was a clerk for over 30 years. He had lived in Pulaski County for the past 57 years.
Survivors include one son, Glen Perkins Jasper of Somerset and one sister, Mrs. Lillian Ritter of Somerset.
Funeral services were held at the chapel of the Denny-Murrell-Correll Funeral Home Sunday at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Charles E. Correll officiating. Burial followed at the Oak Hill Cemetery.
