Madge was born January 29, 1928 in Milwaukee. She attended Holy Angels Elementary School and graduated from Rufus King High School in 1945. Her marriage to Frank Platt took place in October of 1948. The couple had been married for 57 years. In 1955, they moved to Mequon, WI and raised 8 children and many, many cats. Madge worked for the "Milky Way" drive-in restaurant in Glendale for 24 years. In 1997, they retired to Stevens Point, WI. Madge loved to Travel. Her most recent and favorite places being China and Hawaii. Madge's strongest passion was, her love for animals.
Madge is survived by her loving husband, Frank; their 5 daughters, Debra (Greg) Jagielski, Barbara (Gary) Pond, Nancy (John) Gilson, Constance (Scott) Braun and Juliana (Craig) Adams; 3 sons, Frank Platt Jr., Michael Platt and Alan Platt; 6 grandchildren, Hannah Jagielski, Alexander Johnson, Meghan Johnson, Elliot Smith, Laura Platt and Joseph Platt. Madge is further survived by dear sister-in-law Rita Binder (nee Zimmerman) as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
Madge was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary (Leonard) Purgill, Anna (Earl) Krainik, Frances (John) Rebstock, Josephine (Ray) Sawatzke and her brother, Joseph Binder.
