Mark Meighen, 77 years, of West Alexander R. D. 1, died Tuesday, February 20, 1962, in the Ankrom Convalescent Home, Washington. He was a son of John and Lucinda Gordon Meighen, and was born at Wind Ridge, January 13, 1885. On October 20, 1909, he was united in marriage with Olive Hughes whose death occurred June 29, 1947. Surviving are two brothers, James of Waynesburg and John L. of Pittsburgh; three sisters, Mrs. Lucy Porter and Mrs. Adalyn Thomas, both of Washington, and Mrs. Kathryn Minton of Graysville; three sons, John of Cincinnati; Frank of West Alexander, and Harold of Washington; and three daughters, Bernice, wife of Dale Stollar of West Alexander; Jane, wife of Harry Flynn of Washington, and Margaret E. Meighan of Wheeling, W. Va. There are nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
