Son of John Bavington and Eleanor (McNall) Burns

Funeral services were held Tuesday evening of last week for James McNallBURNS, who died Monday morning, August 5, 1935, in his home in Crafton, with
the Rev. Mr. WILLIAMS, his pastor and the Rev. James POTTER, a former
pastor, in charge. Mr. BURNS had been held high esteem by fellow members of
the Frankfort U. P. church and by neighbors in the Florence district. For
several years, during a period in which he was weakened by age and suffered
failing of sight, he had been cared for by his wife, who survives him. The
following children also survive: Mrs. Genevieve KOCH of Mt. Lebanon,
William Raymond of Steubenville, Edgar McNall, a professor a Rutgers
university, and Bertha Estella, who aided in caring for her father at home.
Two grandchildren, Marilyn Jean KOCH and Harry James BURNS, and a sister,
Mrs. Bella BUBBETT of Bavington also survive. Burial was in Mt. Royal Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
