Mrs. Meighen was a member of Thomson Methodist Church, Wheeling Island, W.Va.
She was a 1938 graduate of West Alexander High School and a 1949 graduate of Riggs Lamar Beauty School, Wheeling.
Mrs. Meighen owned and operated Peggy's Beauty Salon on Wheeling Island since 1949. She was very proud of her 60 years in the hairstyling business.
She was a member of several bridge clubs.
Mrs. Meighen was the last of her immediate family.
Deceased are three brothers, John, Frank and Harold Meighen; and two sisters, Bernice Stollar and Jane Flynn.
