Benjamin Knauss died early Saturday evening.
The deceased was a native of Easton and was about 45 years old. He was an iron worker by occupation and was for a long time employed at the Delaware rolling mills in Phillipsburg. He was a familiar figure at the Circle on market days where hucksters employed him to do chores.
Two brothers and a sister survive the deceased. They are Martin V. B. Knauss, of the North Side; John Knauss, of Phillipsburg and Mrs. Mary Cross, of the South Side.
