MOTORMAN DECLARES HE DIDN'T SEE CHILD'S DANGER
UNTIL TOO LATE
Frank Clawson, the little 4-year old son of Mr. and Mrs. George Clawson, who reside at the "Spring," a short distance below Phillipsburg, was instantly killed by a trolley car about 5:49 o'clock yesterday afternoon.
The motorman declared the car was running about six miles an hour reiterated the statement made last night to the effect that he did not see the child until the car had struck it. He says the car was under control.
