Lawson, Jerry M., 57, of Soddy-Daisy, died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 1998, in a local hospital. He was an Army veteran, a member of Flat Top Independent Church, an employee of Food Max and the son of the late William Lawson. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Lawson; daughter, Wendy Adamson, Chattanooga; mother, Alberta Woody, Hixson; stepmother, Nettie Lawson, Huntsville, Ala.; five sisters, Peggy Hedrick, Cleveland, Tenn., Hazel Garland, Huntsville, Wanda Grant, Pikeville, Tenn., Faye Estrada, Wyoming, Phyllis Nichols, Ringgold, Ga; two brothers, James Barber, Ronnie Barber, Hixson; two grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. today in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Joe Hedrick and the Rev. Joe Davis officiating. Burial will be in Chattanooga Memorial Park.
