As director, he worked in "María Candelaria" (1944), "Bugambilia" (1945), "La Perla" (1947), "La Malquerida" (1949), "La Rebelión de los Colgados" (1954), "La Rosa Blanca" (1955), "El Impostor" (1956) and "La Choca" (1974).
