Christina was born to Antonio and Elizabeth Manno on June 24, 1911 in Chicago Heights, Illinois.

She was married to Alex Iuele, until his death in 1979.

She was my grandmother's best friend. We all loved Christine very much and she was more to us than a friend and neighbor.

OBIT: Christina Iuele - age 77 of Chicago Heights, Illinois-formerly of East Chicago. Indiana - passed away Sunday, January 24, 1988.

Survivors: two sisters, Mary Manno of Chicago Heights and Agnes Nuzzo of Bradford, Pa., brother, Andrew Manno of Chicago Heights. sister-in-law, Pauline (late Sam) Manno of Youngstown, Ohio.

Proceeded in death by her husband Alex -who was an employee for the City of East Chicago.

Visitation will be at the West End funeral home, Lincoln Highway and Otto Blvd., Chicago Heights on Friday January 29 from 2 to 9 p.m. tomorrow

Funeral services Saturday 10 a.m. from St. Rocco to Evergreen Cemetery, Steger, Illinois
