George was born to Michael and Sylvia Zingo.

Obit: Zingo, Sr., George M. - age 80, of East Chicago, Indiana, passed away Friday, January 12, 1990 at Community Hospital.

Survivors: two sons, George (Connie) Zingo of East Chicago and Arnold Zingo of East Chicago; one daughter, Sharon (Paul) Klus of Munster; two grandson Mark and Brian Zingo both of Hammond; four granddaughters, Attorney Georgia Enzer of Memphis, Tennessee, Karen Zingo of East Chicago, Barbra Zingo of Hammond, and Cindy Klus of Munster; sister-in-law, Irene Sancya of Hammond; one nephew, Donald (Peggy) Sancya of Hammond; one niece Shirley Peres; a host of other relatives and friends.

Precede in death by wife Aurelia in 1984.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 15, 9:30 a.m. at St. Nicholas Church in East Chicago with the Reverend George C. Muresan officiating.

Burial, Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond.

Friends may call at the Fife Funeral Home, 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
Father Muresan will have a prayer service at 7 p.m. Sunday.

Mr. Zingo retired in 1967 from the Youngstown Sheet & Tube;
member of St. Nicholas Church and the Heritage Hall Senior Citizens Club;
he was a resident of East Chicago since 1929.
