Lucchesi, Allyn E. 70, of Beach Park, IL died on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. Allyn was born December 18, 1941 in Chicago, moved to Winthrop Harbor in 1995 from Wilmette, IL and to Beach Park in 2005. She was an active member of Our Lady of Humility Church of Beach Park where she served a two year term as President of the Women's Club, worked in the food pantry, and served the church in various other capacities. Survivor include her husband, Joseph; daughter Elizabeth (Tim) Drentlaw of Grain Valley, MO; two step-grandchildren Josh and Jakob Drentlaw; and two brothers Jerry (Mary) Ziert of Harvard, IL and Richard Ziert of Arizona. She was preceded in death by her son John Joseph Lucchesi in 1981; her mother Elizabeth Ziert; and her father Russell Ziert. Visitation will be Friday, January 13, 2012, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday, January 14th, at 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Humility Church, 10655 W. Wadsworth Road, Beach Park. Interment will be at All Saints Cemetery, DesPlaines, IL on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
