CATO PIONEER DIES AFTER A LONG ILLNESS Wolfgang Brandal (sic) a pioneer of the county died at the family home in the town of Cato east of Clarks Mills at 5:30 this morning, the demise following a long illness. Mr. Brandal had been at a Milwaukee hospital for treatment and had only been returned home only 2 days ago. The funeral will be held Friday morning with services at 9:30 at St Mary’s Catholic church, Rev Gehling officiating. Mr Brandal was 69 years old. He is survived by his widow, 3 sons and 2 daughters: Joseph/Charles/George all of Cato, Mrs George Lawrence (Theresa's last name should be Loritz) and Mrs John Riederer (Sophia) of this city.
