Alexander "Wojie" Wojciechowicz
Birth: Aug. 12, 1915
Death: Jul. 13, 1992

Hall of Fame Professional Football Player. A two-time All-American at Fordham University and a member of the "Seven Blocks of Granite" offensive line of which Vince Lombardi was a guard. He was drafted in 1938 by the Detroit Lions and started at center. While he played the center position, he also played on the defensive side of the ball as a linebacker. He was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles into the 1946 season and was moved to the defense full-time.
