The youngest of the 10 children born to Frank Hillenbrand and Anna Blankenberger, Helen moved to Colorado in 1951 to live with family. On December 28, 1953, she married Earl in Roggen. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she was an honorary member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She loved to read, play cards and sew. She lived most of her life on the family farm near Roggen devoted to her family. Survivors beside Earl included: children Teresa (Jeff) Reckard of Fort Lupton, Sharon (Steve) Erker of Wiggins, Karen (Dan) Westhoff of Centennial, Josie Linnebur of Fort Collins, Tony (Sharon) Linnebur of Roggen and daughter-in-law, Cindy Linnebur of Beulah; 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Preceding were her parents, several brothers and sisters, and son David E. Linnebur in 2011. Rosary Service held December 4 followed by Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Tabor-Rice Funeral Home handled arrangements.
