Marguerite, 92, entered into rest near her home in La Mesa, California, with family by her side. She was born June 27, 1922, in Lewiston, Maine, to George and Aurore Drouin.

There will be a graveside service on Friday November 21st at 11:00 at: El Camino Memorial Park 5600 Carroll Canyon Road San Diego, California 92121

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at a later date.

Marguerite was an avid gardener, and no one else could grow prettier roses than she. Her yard was her passion, which she developed into a beautiful tranquil paradise. Marge loved her big band music and would often start dancing the minute the music began to play. She loved to travel, and spent many wonderful vacations with friends and family. Having lived in her home for 56 years, she developed numerous close relationships. When the neighbors got together to celebrate the holidays, they made sure Marge was there, as she was “The Queen of Sarita Street”. Marguerite will be best known for her love for her husband, family, and friends. She was feisty, energetic, fun, and entertaining. She was the best to get advice from, as she would tell you exactly like it was.

Marguerite is survived by her children Paul and Sue, her grand children Tyler, Kelli, Derek, Michele, and Rene, and also her great grandchildren Madeline, Tristen, Taylor, Hailey, Hazel, and Isla.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Rene and granddaughter Kristin. Daughter Claire left us to join her Mother shortly after her Mother’s death.
