Bullfighter. He was born in Valencia, Comunidad Valenciana. He studied music, becoming a good violinist, but left music for the bullfighting. He debuted in September 28 in 1920, in La Maestranza de Sevilla along with Rafael "El Gallo." He got a big success and during 1921, he made 91 "corridas." Soon, he become a legend of the bullfighting. He was considered a successor of Joselito, and he created the move "Pase de la Firma." Sadly, on May 7, 1922, Valls was gored to death in a bullfight in Madrid. He is buried in the mausoleum that the escultor Jose Arnal García carved specifically for him.
