Kari Borreson was born at Tyldalen, Norway, November 11, 1837; immigrated to America in 1869, locating at LaCrosse county, where they lived four years, then moving to the town of Pigeon. In 1908 they moved to the Town of Preston and lived with their son, Charlie, until her death. She was taken ill the past part of September and died October 8.
