While living in Ord he was employed at the Fackler Grocery Store and then in the restaurant business with his brother Archie Bradt. He also operated a restaurant and grocery store in Wolbach (Nebraska).
For the past 30 years, Ed had made his home in Lincoln, retiring from the restaurant business and working part time with a large food company.
He is survived by his wife [Pearl] and sisters, Mrs. Harvey Parks, Broken Bow, (Nebraska), Mrs. Ben Timmerman, Lexington, (Nebraska) and a third sister, Ella.
