Emil Stransky, age 84, of 124 Cherry Ave., Francis Creek, died Wednesday morning, August 18, 1993, as a result of an automobile accident. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. The Rev. Theodore Hendricks will officiate with burial in St. Anne's Cemetery.
He was born May 20, 1909, in the Township of Kossuth, Manitowoc County, son of the late Joseph and Mary Pech Stransky. He grew up in the Township of Kossuth attending schools and graduated from Lincoln High School in Manitowoc. He owned and operated Stransky Automotive Service of Francis Creek all of his life. He was married to Viola R. Dohnal October 29, 1938, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Kellnersville. He is a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek, The Melnik Lodge No. 20, of the Western Fraternal Life Association, Rockwood, and Francis Creek Senior Citizens, and the Francis Creek Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include his wife, Viola, ; one son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Trudy Stransky, Francis Creek; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Judy and Ray Carbon, Green Bay, Mary Lynn Kohls, Manitowoc, Audrey and James Dempsky, Denmark; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Julia Peltier, Manitowoc; also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ann Jansky and Alvina Benzschawel.
Friends may call at the Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, from 4-8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. util the time of services. There will be a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. Friday said by Rev. Theodore Hendricks.
