A lifelong resident of Cranston, he was a son of the late Joseph and Angelina (Cabral) Peters.
Mr. Peters was a member of the board of directors of W.A.R.P. of Johnston. He was a communicant of St. Mark Church, Garden City.
Besides his wife he leaves two daughters, Jean E. Brooks of Warwick and Judith A. Peters of Cranston; a son, Robert F. Peters of Coventry; two sisters, Isabelle Iaciofano of Cranston and Evelyn Greth of Reading, Pa.; and five grandchildren.
Brother of the late Mary, John, Joseph, and Pvt. George J. Peters.
The funeral was held Monday from Nardolillo Funeral Home, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Mark Church, Garden City, Cranston. Burial in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
