Daughter of Archie and Laura (VanDell) Maulik, Helen grew up on a farm. After graduating in 1958 as Valedictorian of Riverton High School, she attended Barnes Business School and worked as a full-time nanny. She worked as a librarian, special education tutor, and secretary for Humble Oil and the Jeffco School ESL program where she retired in 2004. She was a wonderful wife and homemaker. She was also an exemplary Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader for many years. Helen enjoyed traveling the world and only missed seeing every US state by one. She was also an avid reader and enjoyed being part of a book club for the last several years. She was preceded by husband Lyndon Hayward Bell. They were married on February 24, 1962 in Riverton. Survivors included her brother Lewis (Carol) Maulik and Lewis's children Joyce Skaggs, Doug Maulik, and Mitch Maulik; Helen's daughter Laura (Ruben) Rivera of Littleton, CO and Laura's children Adam and Reyna; Helen's son Keith (Christie) Bell of Morrison, CO and Keith's son Kevin. Memorial open-house was held December 6 at 7900 W. Layton Ave, Denver, 80123. Helen's family appreciated donations to fight Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease at National Prion Disease Pathology Surveillance Center (NPDPSC)http://www.cjdsurveillance.com
