Mrs. Dale (Clara H.) Allen, 74, died Monday June 8, at St. Margaret's Hospital in Spring Valley. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Allen was born March 30, 1918 in Lawndale to Sylvester and Clara (Graham) Huffman. She was formerly employed at Krogers and was treasurer for the First Presbyterian Church for 14 years. She married Dale Allen September 19, 1940 in Decatur.
She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Carol Feldberg of Ottawa and Mrs. James (Karen) Schmidt of Polo; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Frye of Lakeland, FL; a brother Luther Huffman of Bloomington. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
