Webb and Lucy Mason, by whom he had two children possibly born at Savannah, GA - Lucy Mason (Tyler) Willett and Nellie Osgood (Tyler) Turner, both named by their full maiden name in Edmund's will dated Sept. 13, 1904 at Anniston, Alabama.

FUNERAL OF MAJOR TYLER
Anniston, Ala., October 13 [Special] – Funeral services of the late Edmund L. Tyler were held this afternoon at 3 o'clock at Grace Episcopal church of which the deceased was a member. Rev. G. Glass, rector, assisted by the Rev. J. H. Blacklock, of St. Michael and A. H. Angels, officiated. The body was laid at rest in Hillside cemetery.
