Jan Trail, 87, went to be with our Lord and Savior, December 23, 2014 in Birmingham, Alabama. Jan was a loyal and beloved wife, mother and follower of Jesus Christ. A long-time resident of Sugar Land, Texas, she attended Sugar Creek Baptist Church for 17 years and volunteered with Second Mile. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Ben Trail, and her grandson Christopher McInnis. She is survived by her daughter Cindy Attaway, and her husband Bill, son Randy Trail and his wife Kittie, granddaughter Courtney McInnis Parrott, her husband Joshua and their daughter Olivia; and grandsons Ben, Patrick and Thomas Trail.
She was laid to rest Monday, December 29th at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham surrounded by friends and family. Jan volunteered with Second Mile in Missouri City, Texas and her family has asked that donations may be made there in lieu of flowers at http://www.secondmile.org/.
