OBITUARY
KELSEY GRAYDON ADAMS, age 78 of Lexington, Kentucky, passed from this life on Saturday, May 26, 1979 at his residence in Lexington, Kentucky.
He was the son of Will Adams and Loretta Jones Adams, born June 10, 1900 in Whitesburg, Kentucky.
Survivors are his wife Lillie Mae Robbins Adams, of Lexington, Kentucky; two sons: Robert Vernon Adams, Neon, Kentucky; Kelsey R. Adams, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. Four daughters: Ruby Deloris Roark, Pineville, Kentucky; Violetta Adams, Lexington, Kentucky; Lorinda Lee Grubbs, Lincoln Park, Mi.; Alice Mae Hall, Lexington, Kentucky. Three brothers: Kerney M. Adams, Richmond, Kentucky; Forest G. Adams, Naples, Florida; Jody Adams, Lakeland, Florida. Four sisters: Fonda V. Adams, Naples, Florida; Velma Opal Craft, Lexington, Kentucky; Wilma Crase, Jenkins, Kentucky; Lovette Lucas, Beattyville, Kentucky; nineteen grandchildren. Also a host of relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by twin daughters, Jewell and Beulah Adams, and a sister, Elma Wright.
He was a member of the Church of God, of Jenkins, Kentucy.
"Let not your heart be troubled, In my fathers house are many mansions, if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself."
